I have realized that writing letters to my children and keeping them in a text file on my computer somewhere lacks depth and possibly discoverability (not a word, I know) in case I die. I want to be able to add links to articles, recordings of my motherly "sermons" that spring to mind while driving, or songs I sang to them at night (maybe I'll skip those for my dignity's sake). I want to share videos, such as Earl Nightingale's "The Strangest Secret in The World", although, I haven't tested whether that theory actually works, yet.
Because I have procrastinated with the creation of this blog for so long now, I have to start with bulk postings of letters I wrote to them when they were little. Let's see if I can modify the post dates according to the time I penned these messages. And if it works then this introduction is probably soon going to be buried between old and new entries. If that is the case, I'll probably try to fit it into the blog description.
Last but not least, from now on, I will write by addressing them personally - just as I do in my PC-captivated letters.
